Artist Carrie Martin was in need of a model for a series of figure paintings. When she happened to meet Hope at a grief support group, she thought she would be perfect for the job. When Hope began to inspire other feelings beyond the art, Carrie decided to keep it a secret. She didn't know Hope had a secret or two of her own. Can these two women set aside their fears, let the truth out, and find what they need in each other's arms.

New name...same paintings. Most of my pieces will be done in oil paints. Some of my offerings are color pencil paintings Why do I call it a painting if it is a color pencil drawing? Because, it is done in layers with the color pencil and then using mineral spirits to spread out the color with a brush or swab giving it a washed effect, more like watercolor than color pencils.

I am an artist and a writer. My first book, Carrie and Hope was published April 2011, followed by Emily's Art and Soul in June 2011. I have been creating art since I was a small child, but the writing is a more recent passion. I am glad you are taking this artist journey with me.
